7 Spears School students selected as OSU Seniors of Significance |

STILLWATER, Okla. - Seven seniors in the Spears School of Business have been named 2009-2010 Seniors of Significance by the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association.
The Seniors of Significance Award honors those students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership and service for the OSU campus and Stillwater community. This group represents approximately the top one percent of the 2009-2010 graduating class and the heart of the OSU experience. This year, 45 students were selected for the honor.
A reception acknowledging the winners will be held November 23 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center. For more information on the Seniors of Significance Award, visit http://orangeconnection.org/studentawards.

Function of the Job:
This individual will assist in promotion, coordination and evaluation of on-going noncredit professional development programs. Research new promotion ideas for credit and noncredit courses as needed. Will be responsible for organizing, executing and meeting programmatic deadlines for over 60 programs and 2,000 participants annualy including traditional conferences, seminars and workshops. Assist with and substitute for managers/coordinators at programs as necessary. Handle promotion and administrative details on study abroad/travel courses. Actively evaluate corporate contact databases. Assist in implementation of portions of the Continuity database.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school with four years experience in an office environment or two years post-secondary education and 2 years experience in an office environment. Good organizational and communication skills. Preferred keyboarding of 55cwpm. Knowledge of PageMaker, Indesign, Word, Excel, and Access applications helpful.
