The group including MSMIS students Maithreyi Ganti, Shreepradha Ravi, Priyadarshini Sharma and Amar Gaikwad traveled on historic Route 66 to eat and drink at Pop’s. The 50’s style diner is home to over 500 types of sodas with everything from Diet Pepsi to brands from different countries and smaller bottling companies. Highlights for the group included tasting a crème soda that Sharma described as having an “antiseptic aftertaste” and several more delightful fruit flavored sodas. Boyington stuck with a childhood favorite – classic Coca Cola in a bottle.
On the way home, the group stopped to enjoy the scenery at a long horn cattle ranch.
